Molly O’Leary graduated from Idaho State University in 1978, with a B.A. in Journalism, and received her J.D. from the University of Idaho College of Law in 1994. Following graduation from law school, she served as Law Clerk to Idaho Supreme Court Justice Gerald F. Schroeder. Ms. O’Leary is a Managing Member in the law office of Richardson & O’Leary, PLLC. Ms. O’Leary’s practice is focused in the areas of counseling small business owners and telecommunications regulation.
In the business field, Ms. O’Leary provides proactive counseling to small business owners covering a wide range of legal issues from entity formation through management of ongoing business relationships and cost-effective dispute resolution.
In the telecommunications field, Ms. O’Leary represents competitive local exchange carriers, Internet Service Providers, Internet content providers, and numerous other telecommunications players on a full range of issues from acquiring certification from the appropriate state agency to negotiating and drafting service agreements and resolving disputes in a cost-effective manner.
Ms. O’Leary is active in the Idaho State Bar, serving as president of the Young Lawyers Section from 1997-1998, and is an active member of the Business & Corporate Law Section. She has authored articles on a variety of legal topics, including lender liability under CERCLA. Ms. O’Leary was named Business Woman of the Year by the Boise and Southeast Idaho Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners in 2003, and by the “Idaho Business Review” in 2009. Ms. O’Leary serves on the Advisory Council for the Boise Metro Chamber’s “Small Business Success Center”, as well as the Advisory Council for the Idaho Small Business Development Center. In addition, she is a regular presenter on legal issues affecting small businesses for the monthly workshops sponsored by the Boise chapter of SCORE (Senior Corps of Retired Executives). |
