Mr. Adams joined Richardson & O’Leary, PLLC as an associate in September 2009. His practice focuses on energy law. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Adams clerked for the Honorable Stephen S. Trott at the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals from August 2008 to August 2009, and for the Honorable Darrel R. Perry at the Idaho Court of Appeals from August 2006 to July 2008. During law school, Mr. Adams served as a judicial extern to the Honorable B. Lynn Winmill at the United States District Court for the District of Idaho in fall 2005. He served also as a student intern at the Pacific Environmental Advocacy Center at Lewis and Clark Law School, and as a wetlands and water law intern at the National Wildlife Federation. Also, Mr. Adams published a paper on wind energy development in the University of Oregon’s Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation: Bringing Green Power to the Public Lands: The Bureau of Land Management’s Authority and Discretion to Regulate Wind Energy Developments, 21 Journal of Environmental Law and Litigation 445 (2006). http://www.law.uoregon.edu/org/jell/docs/212/OEL204.pdf A 2006 cum laudegraduate of Lewis and Clark Law School in Portland, Oregon, Mr. Adams received his B.A. in biology and environmental studies from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine in 2001. He is admitted to the bars of the State of Idaho, State of Oregon, the Federal District for the District of Idaho, and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. Outside of work, Mr. Adams enjoys bicycling, skiing, and fishing. He is involved with local bicycling groups, and is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the non-profit Boise Bicycle Project, |
